Thomson Reserve location: MRT, schools and nature
Thomson Reserve sits at 1–11 Bright Hill Drive in District 20, on the south-east edge of the Central Catchment. Reservoirs and nature parks lie on one side and the city on the other, with Upper Thomson MRT next to the site.
Getting around
- Upper Thomson MRT (Thomson–East Coast Line). A pedestrian gate beside the main entrance opens onto the sheltered linkway network leading to the station.
- Two vehicle entrances. The main arrival is on Bright Hill Drive, with a second entrance on Sin Ming Avenue.
- Upper Thomson Road frontage. The site runs along Upper Thomson Road, and ground-level homes sit about three to four storeys above the road.
- Daily needs nearby. Thomson Plaza and the cafés and eateries along Upper Thomson Road are close by.

Nature on every side
The Central Catchment wraps around the north and west. MacRitchie Reservoir and Windsor Nature Park lie to the south-west, and the Singapore Island Country Club and the Lower and Upper Peirce reservoirs lie to the north-west. Low-rise landed estates surround much of the site, which keeps the views open.
Inside the grounds, the towers cover only 12% of the 5-hectare site. The rest is gardens, lawns and a chain of pools inspired by MacRitchie Reservoir, running about 500 m from end to end.

According to the architect, more than 45% of the stacks face the Central Catchment, about 35% look over the estate's own landscaping and pools, and over 80% have a green or landscape view.
Next door: Thomson Three
The completed Thomson Three condominium, with three 21-storey towers and cluster houses, sits in a pocket along the northern edge of the site, between Blocks 5 & 7 and Blocks 9 & 11. Stacks in Block 11 and Block 9 that face it look onto its towers from about 35 to 80 m away. Higher floors in the 30-storey Luxury blocks look over its roofline.
